Included: TRANSPORTATION, GUIDE, BEVERAGES & LUNCH, BOAT TOUR IN THE RIVER – We will pick you up at your hotel to start a drive of approximately 2 hours until you get to a dock before the little town Los Chiles up in the north. In this town, you will embark on a boat tour on the Frio River for about 3 hours with very good chances to caimans, howler and white-throated capuchin monkeys, sloths, green basilisk, fresh water turtles, iguanas and others. It is a fascinating trip for nature lovers. The boat tour is not on the Caño Negro Lagoon itself but on the Frio River. An area of lakes and swampy land formed from alluvial sedimentation make up this wildlife refuge, which has been included on the Ramsar List of Wetlands of International Importance. The seasonal lake of Caño Negro, some 800 ha in area and 3 m deep, is a damned part of the Frío River. If the river level allows it, the trip will include viewing the edge of the lagoon. You will come back on the same river back to the dock for lunch and then by bus back to the Arenal Volcano area. DROP OFF: MONTAÑA DE FUEGO HOTEL & SPA.

A representative from LUMLE will be picking you up at 8:00 A.M. at CLOUD FOREST LODGE for your tour CANOPY & WALKWAYS (SHARED). Included: TRANSPORTATION & EQUIPMENT – This tour not only combines the thrill of one of Costa Rica’s most safe and popular adventures but also provides a unique viewpoint of the cloud forest canopy. The tour consists of 13 cables, including a 1 km cable, 15 platforms, and one Tarzan Swing. There is a total of 2.2 miles of total cable length. It is suitable for people of all ages. This tour lasts two and a half hours approximately. We will also enjoy the treetop walkways that provide us the best way to safely admire the cloud forest canopy. The treetop walkways tour consists of 1.9 miles of trails in which our visitors will encounter eight bridges of various lengths which range between 170 feet and 560 feet. The treetop walkways can be enjoyed by people of all ages and physical conditions. This activity lasts between one hour and a half and two hours. DROP OFF: CLOUD FOREST LODGE.
